Senior Systems Analyst - Contract Opportunity

Our client a well established and successful organization operating in the Financial Services environment is seeking an established and versatile Senior Systems Analyst for a 6 month term. The incumbent will possess strong technical, problem solving and project management skills with an emphasis on communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Activities

1. Engage with clients to identify their solution customization needs

2. Create statements of work based on identified needs

3. Communicate project requirements to developers

4. Oversee testing process

5. Correlate requirements to finished product

6. Work with the development team and other internal stakeholders on resolving application issues and managing priorities

7. Schedule, manage and track ongoing projects

Skills

1.     A university degree in business, information technology, computing sciences or acceptable equivalent

2.     Demonstrated knowledge of ASP, .NET, PHP, XML, JavaScript and Internet technologies

3.     Excellent analytical, problem-solving and creative-thinking skills

4.     Sound knowledge of business issues and processes

5.     Strong interpersonal skills

6.     Understanding of change management and testing methodology in implementing effective business solutions

7.     Financial industry experience a bonus
