Sales Representative – HVAC/Industrial Sales - Halifax

Our client is a leading distributor of HVAC equipment representing major international suppliers in air conditioning, refrigeration, heating, heat recovery and geothermal. We are very pleased to be representing this client who is growing in Atlantic Canada and has the requirement to add an experienced sales representative in the Halifax area to cover both NS and NL.

This position will report to the local Branch Manager.

The successful candidate will be an experienced HVAC (or related) sales professional who understands the Consulting Engineering and Construction Contractors marketplace, within the territory.

Job Summary / Responsibilities:

·         Hunt for new business!!!

·         Maintain, and strengthen customer relations with Mechanical Consulting Engineering firms, Construction Contractors and other targeted accounts.

·         Review, and respond successfully to related RFP`s, tenders, etc.

·         Complete sales-cycle utilization

·         Deliver excellence in customer service and achievement of sales targets.

·         Be the ``resource & solution`` go-to person.

Qualifications:

·         Proven record of HVAC equipment sales success

·         Mechanical engineering graduate or CET

·         Strong technical aptitude

·         Strong oral and written communications ability

·         Customer relationship management

·         Experience in executive-level presentations

·         Able to work independently.

·         Attention to detail

·         Analytical thinker

·         Dynamic and vibrant personality

·         Professional in appearance
