Position Title: Relationship Manager, Commercial Banking
Term: Full-Time
Our client, one of Canada’s largest financial institutions, is seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to join its dynamic Commercial Banking team!
Description/Responsibilities:
Grow Economic Profit of the Portfolio
- Establish and meet annual sales objectives including Net New Relationships, Productive Loan Volumes, Deposit Volumes, etc.
- Grow new business with existing customers to maximize profitability of relationships.
- Grow new business with new customers.
- Maximize Relationship RAROC for all customers, ensuring the minimum required threshold is met/exceeded with each.
- Cross-sell the full range of products to existing and new customers, to maximize revenue/profit and retention of relationships.
- Make referrals to other business partners, and respond effectively to referrals from them.
Manage Credit and Operational Risk
- Assess credit requests to determine risks, and make appropriate recommendations to the team Analyst for packaging/writing the credits.
- Oversee the management of accounts to ensure they remain within guidelines and assigned limits.
- Be knowledgeable of and comply with Bank and Industry Codes of Conduct.
Relationship Management
- Follow best practice service standards.
- Structure and package creative competitive solutions to meet customer needs.
- Continually manage and develop relationships with customers.
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external business partners and use these networks to provide specialized knowledge and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Identify and respond to changes in the business environment, establishing action plans to address customer issues and priorities.
- Participate in industry and community activities to enhance own profile as an expert.
Leadership and People Development
- Be the central point person/coordinator for other Bank employees who interface with/provide services to the customers on the portfolio.
- Be an integral part of the Unit team by being an effective team player.
Requirements:
- Previous Commercial Banking experience
